Rules Oversight Committee

I am accepting volunteers for the Rules Oversight Committee. This committee will be formed to review the constitution and make sure all known rules are clearly represented. During the winter meetings they will be responsible for addressing managers concerns and new rule implementation. More details will follow, but volunteers are welcome starting now. I would like to field a 3-5 man committee that does not include any of the League Managers so they can represent the manager's while the LM's will represent the league during discussions.

I'm concerned about how this is going to work in practice. I hope that anyone is allowed to suggest rules changes whether they are on the committee or not, and that all changes will be put to a full vote of all managers, but then I don't really see what the point of the committee is.

the committee will be serving two primary functions.

1) is to host the town hall meeting, where all managers can discuss concerns and suggestions for the league. they will be representing the managers when those suggestions are brought to the LM's. and the LM's and committee members will work to create a proposal to fix the concerns, and that proposal will go up for league vote.
2) they will be auditing the constitution and making sure that nothing is missing and that it is stated clearly so it is understandable by the league.

These members will be the points of contact for the managers in regards to league concerns and rule modifications. And they will be negotiating for you when they meet with the LM's to come up with solutions.
