*If owners vote to keep 4 divisions, we will still have a vote for realignment within 4 divisions.
Recently we've discussed realignment for our league. Originally we were set up with 4 divisions with 5 teams in each division. We arranged our league based on where owners live geographically. With our owners changing, this no longer has any bearing on our current alignment. One suggestion is to realign to 5 divisions with 4 teams each. This would make scheduling smoother, as we would have 9 division games and we would play 3 other full divisions. The division that each division doesn't play would be rotated each season. Another benefit is that our divisions would make more sense and therefore be easier to remember off hand without looking up who is in our division all the time. Teams would also have a greater chance of winning their division.
