A good understanding of the contract structure will be paramount to success in this league, so make sure this section is read thoroughly.
There will be a total of (10) types of contracts in this league.
-MLC: a Minor League Contract applied to any prospect that has been called up prior to surpassing the 130 AB/50 IP limits. The yearly salary will be the league minimum $1. Each offseason the MLC will be removed and when a player is promoted his new MLC will be based on that season's salary cap.
- ARB: a 5 year controlled service time arbitration eligible contract. once a prospect is no longer minor league eligible they will be placed into an ARB contract. During that first year they will be labeled as (1/5), every season that, that player reaches the minimum AB/IP for service time, they will gain one year of service time on their contracts...(2/5), (3/5), (4/5), and (5/5).
