NEW Farm League Integration Process

First step for every team is to log into Fantrax and confirm that you have access to the DLF Farm League. While doing so please verify that your prospects in the Farm League are accurately transferred over from the DLF Pro League. Once you have confirmed access and accurate rosters, we will remove the prospects from the Pro League to start transitioning into the 40-Man roster phase of this process.

Reply that you have access and confirm your rosters, below.

If you have any pending trades that include prospects, these need to be updated and proposed/accepted in the Farm League accordingly.


Update: 01/19/22
All teams have confirmed access to the Farm League and that their rosters are accurately represented.

All Farm League players have been removed from the main DLF Pro League.

The DLF main Pro League has been updated to have the minor league roster maximum reduced from 40 to 14 players to represent the 40-M roster. Additionally, the Fantrax option to Prevent Claims for Minor League Players has been enabled. That rule functions as described in the attached image.

In order to preserve the integrity of the rosters in the Farm League a few of the team permissions have been adjusted.

The reason lineup changes is disabled is so that we can moderate/process the 40-M transactions. When a player is promoted to the 40-M a LM will add them to your Pro League minors roster and move them from your Farm League minors to your Farm League active. This is the only instance where a player will be duplicated across the two leagues. It is important for the drafts, that we keep the players that are minor league eligible and also on the 40-M, on the Farm League rosters so they don't show up in the available player pool, and this is our solution to that.

I have also removed the Commissioner Approval needed for processing Farm League trades. When you make a trade in the Farm League, whether it is a stand-alone trade or part of a larger deal, please ensure that your Trade forum post clearly shows the "Farm League:" part of the trades. This is so we can track and verify the transactions between "Pro League:" and "Farm League:"

Now it's time for Step 2 of the integration process.

This step will be promoting any players from the farm league to your 40-M. Any players promoted will be placed on the $1 MLC contract. If you wish to promote a player that has surpassed the graduation requirements, that needs to be stated in your promotion post and they will be placed on the active roster with the standard ARB $1 (1/5) contract, same as we have always done with graduates.

Update:
If a player has graduated the 130/50 threshold, when promoted to the 40-M they MUST be placed on the Pro League active roster, since they have surpassed minor league eligibility.
